Holders of( Cumbria Business Environment Network), CBEN Gold Award, having implemented an Environmental Policy, e.g. recycling, composting bin on site,planting of trees,shrubs and plants to encourage insects,wildlife & implementation of energy saving smart meter's on all hard standing super pitches.
We have a no of nesting boxes & bat boxes throughout the complex, in addition to an insect hotel.We have from time to time visits from red squirrels, who feed & roe deer can often be seen close to the site., in th e nearby woods, woodpecks barn & tawny owls live close by!


Our Caravan Club CL site, is exclusively for Adults only, nestled in rural Cumbria/Scotland Border, just three miles from Gretna Green,offering peace & tranquilly, woodland walks, acres of breath taking countryside, with walking,cycling, swimming ,fishing opportunties & views of the Northern Lake District Cumbrian fells, Geltdale & Tindale fell.
Close to the Scottish Border, the Gateway to Scotland & is within easy access to the M 6 & M 74, M75 & A 69. Ideal stopover or base to explore the two UNESCO World Hertitage sites .The Lake District & Northumberland National Park, Hadrian's Wall, historic Carlisle, Solway Coast & Scottish Border towns

LOW MOOR HEAD CL is situated just outside the hamlet of Easton, near Longtown, with the beautiful woodland back drop of Heathery Belt Wood, part of Netherby Estate, to the north,former home of the Graham family, & the splendor of the Northern Lake District fells to the south, Geltdale & Tindale fell to the east, a hidden gem,unspoilt countryside.

The site has an excellent vehicular access, with double gates allowing guests to be off the country road, prior to entering the site.

Our site offers guests five spacious pitches, all hard-standings, all Super pitches, of similar standard & quality of Club sites, incorporating individual electric hookups, fresh water taps and grey waste points on each pitch, excellent digital TV signal on all pitches. Awnings can be erected on the hard standing or grass.Cars are park close by in car park allowing more room on pitches.

As part of our environmental policy, built within a Finnish log cabin, our toilet /shower block, benefits from natural insulation,( heated during winter months,) high-quality disabled facilities.
Our new toilet & shower block is planned for easter 2023!

Our information point, built within a log structure, allows guest to discover local history, forthcoming events, visitor attractions, or a place to relax, we have a small book exchange.

Car parking area to the front of the site, where our recycling (separate bins and general waste bins can be found. The CL site is designed and maintained to the highest standards, and offers many benefits similar to Caravan Club sites, which are always looking to improve.

All our accomodation is bespoke, very high standard,exclusively for couples only, pet free & child free.

The site is within easy access to South West Scotland, Solway Coast, Hadrian's Wall country, Kielder Water, Scottish Borders the Lake District, all within an hours drive. The site provides an excellent starting/finishing, overnight stop off point, or a base for an excellent holiday, with many attractions and events in the local area, for you to visit.

The site is within walking/ cycling distance of the thriving town of Longtown, approx one mile, offering visitors a good selection of shops, cafes, Graham's Arms hotel,excellent homemade locally sourced food, a former Coaching inn, Sycamore Cafe, excellent homemade meals, & Sunday lunch, Spar supermarket & garage, chemist, Kirkups butchers, newsagents, Cafes, takeaways, garage, Post Office, Gretna Bakery, award-winning Fish & Chip shop,
Bagladeshi takeway, sandwich shops etc & riverside walks along the river Esk, famous for seatrout & salmon,. We are just three miles from Gretna Green the World famous wedding venue &Caladonia Park Outlet Village.

We have an excellent bus service into Carlisle quarter to hour, buses to Gretna,/Edinburgh and beyond, in addition to a local Taxi service

We recommend advance booking to ensure availability, This can be done by contacting us by telephone, email or online booking form via our website. A booking deposit is taken for all bookings & Bank Holidays are to be paid in full, please.

Site ?£25.00 per night all inclusive

( based on 2 adults, hard- standing pitch, electric,water.toilet/shower,awning,free WiFi and pets.)
Additional persons @ ?£5 extra per night.

As we have metered electricity, extra can be purchased, if required.

We have four pitches 3x 10 amp supply & 1 x 16 amp, all hard standing super pitches,

It is not expected that visitors will use additional 'ELECTRIC HEATERS'
other than those provided by the caravan manufacture.
