This hideway site is situated on the edge of the Chiltern Hills in an area of outstanding natural beauty. An ideal location for those who want a relaxing break. The small town of Watlington only half mile walk with local pubs, fish & chip shop, small supermarket, excellent butchers and cheese shop amongst a few. On site there is a small shop selling fresh free range eggs, homemade cakes, seasonal jams and marmalade and greeting cards, confectionery and soft drinks. Also available are maps for local walks and local attraction leaflets. The toilet block was refurbished for the start of 2009. A fridge, microwave and kettle are provided, together with washing up liquid. As well as the 5 van site there is a separate field for caravan rallies and another for those backpacking.

Situated on the edge of the Chiltern Hills, at the foot of Watlington Hill the site is ideally situated for those who enjoy walking/cycling with numerous footpaths in the immediate area, and with the National Ridgeway Path running alongside the campsite. For the birdwatcher amongst you, Red Kites can be seen flying overhead and may even be tempted down for the odd tit bit. The City of Oxford is only 18 miles away and London 40 miles with buses running to both locations throughout the day. We are 12 miles from High Wycombe and 10 miles from Henley-on-Thames.
