Site Description

The site is secluded and gently sloping, set in an elevated position (450 ft). It faces south with far reaching views over the Vale of York and across to the Pennines. It is set in a good walking and sight-seeing area convenient for York, the Howardian and Hambleton Hills and the North York Moors. There is riding, golf (Thirsk and Easingwold), fishing and racing (Thirsk, Wetherby, Ripon, York) nearby


Site Charges

Site = £8 per night (up to 6 people, one tent, one awning.
Additional people = £1 each per night Additional tents = £2 each per night
Washing machine = £2 per use
Drier = £1.50 per use
Shower = 50p per use

York 16 miles, Thirsk (James Herriot Centre, racing, golf) 9 miles, Helmsley 9 miles, Byland Abbey 5 miles, Easingwold 4 miles, Coxwold (Shandy Hall) 3 miles.
