If you are coming on the A1 (North or South) take the A168 towards Thirsk. leave this at the Thirsk/A19/ York signed exit taking directions for York. You will by now have seen very large "Caravan Route" signs, this is to avoid the very steep Sutton Bank on which caravans are prohibited. These signs will show you where to turn left towards Coxwold about 4 miles after leaving the Thirsk junction. When you reach the village of Coxwold turn left at the only crossroad towards Wass, Ampleforth (still on the caravan route). You will find Brenk House Farm exactly one mile after leaving the village, we are on the right hand side.
