On the doorstep for the 43 miles of the North Norfolk Coast, Thursford Museum with its famous concerts, Blickling Hall, Sandringham with its flower show and craft fairs and Holkham Hall with its numerous walks and deer herds. There is golf at Fakenham and a Driving Range just up the road. Fishing is available in South Creake and comes highly recommended. 5 minute taxi ride to good public transport connections, the bus will stop if you flag it down outside site.
