Site Description

Situated in the attractive village of Lifton, West Devon and only three miles east of Launceston, North Lodge Caravan Club CL is a peaceful and accessible site to visit and use as a base for exploring the delights of the West Country.

The site is accessed through the stone gateposts that once marked the north entrance to the Lifton Park estate. Pass the old 18th Century lodge and enter into the 1-acre site that is sheltered from the main road by a selection of mature trees. The site is spacious and bright and you will have plenty of space to make yourselves comfortable.

The site provides electric hookups with water on the hookup posts and toilets and a shower (there is a £1.00 charge for the shower but it runs long enough for 2 people!)

Dogs are welcome but should be kept on a lead as we have a collection of ducks, chickens and sheep that share the area with us!

The site is within easy walking distance of the local Farm Shop and restaurant, the vibrant village shop and post office and a selection of hotels, restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes.

You will be sure of a warm welcome and excellent attention. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to Lifton.

Site Charges

£12 per pitch per night for 2 people

Additional adults and children - please ask for the price

Local Attractions

There are several places to eat or enjoy a drink within walking distance of the caravan site. These include Lifton Strawberry Fields Farm Shop and restaurant and Lifton Hall Hotel, Tinhay Mill Restaurant and the Arundell Arms Hotel and Courthouse Bar. All offer excellent value to suit all budgets.

We are three miles from Dingles Fairground Heritage Centre:

Launceston, the ancient capital of Cornwall, is 3 miles to the west of Lifton whilst Tavistock, a vibrant and popular market town (who claim to have invented the 'Devon Cream Tea') lies 11 miles to the east of Lifton. Both towns offer a number of attractions and a variety of shops as well as Farmers Markets. Both towns provide easy access to Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor.

There are a number of National Trust properties in the local area. We are also approximately 35 minutes drive from the magnificent North Cornwall coast and 45 minutes away from the Eden Project.

North Lodge is a great site for exploring Devon and Cornwall.
