Site Description

Winners: Northern England CL of the Year 2010, (as seen May 2011 issue caravan club magazine pg 9).
Holders of Gold Cben Award (Cumbria Business Enviromental Network Award ). Recycling and composting bin on site.

We are Calor gas agents.

A one acre lawned site on a slight incline with a beautiful woodland back drop of Heatherybelt Wood, part of Netherby Estate. This also allows guests to explore the woodland walks, home to red squirrels, roe deer birds and fauna & flora. All pitches have hardstandings, with electric hook up and water on each pitch, excellent digital TV signal, in addition to the shower/toilet. The site provides not only a tranquil environment for guests to relax, but is within easy access to South West Scotland, Solway Coast, Hadrians Wall country and the Lake District. The site is within one half mile of Longtown, which has Post Office,3 Public houses/Hotel,B&B, Laundrette, Bakery, Sandwich shops, Chinese takeaway, Pizza shop, award winning Fish & Chip shop,Saddlers,gift/flower shop etc and riverside walks.

Site Charges

Please note that due to an increasing frequency of non arrivals and non payments a number of booking changes have been introduced.

Booking deposit
All bookings must be secured with a non refundable, non transferable deposit. This must be in the form of a cheque made payable to Mr O Taylor.

All Bank Hoilday bookings must be secured by payment in full.

Cancellations
If a booking is cancelled within 7 days of arrival or terminated early at short notice, then, with no exceptions, we reserve the right to charge the full price.

Non arrivals.
Non arrivals deprive our loyal guests of the opportunity to stay with us and as such will not be tolerated. A record will be made of all non arrivals and future booking will either require full payment to be made in advance or will be declined.

1st April 2012 - 31st October 2010
Site = £14.00 per night (2 adults)

1st November 2012 - 31st March 2011
Site = £17.00 per night (2 adults)

Extra persons = £3.00 per night
Twin axle caravans = £1.00 per night extra
Motor homes over 25ft = £1.00 per night extra

Extra vehicles, porch awnings and dogs are free.

Arrival times = 12 noon - 8pm

Departure times = Prior to 12 noon. (Extended with prior agreement)
